Directv Speed Chanel was 607. Don't know if they will move it or not. If you have DTV, log in to their website and under my account click on my programming, then click on view channel lineup and they are listed in alphabetical order.

Wow!! 90 million homes!! Now that's some exposure. In two weeks where I believe the only college football game going on that night is on this new network, millions will be watching the Bison battle K-State. Awesome!

ESPN thinks a meaningless college bball game > NCAA championship event.
FS1 should be promoting all of their football games to the max, especially with no NFL games that weekend.

Yeah...nevermind. When I posted that earlier...the guide said TBA after 1:30. Now it has shows filled in on 219/MAVTV all day. Thought I was on to something (common Man). We will keep an eye on it tomorrow.

Speed Channel is now showing as Fox Sports 1 here in Virginia now... showing the programming for Saturday... lots of NASCAR in the afternoon and some MMA in the evening. There is a College Football preview that is showing at 6am and 3:30pm eastern - curious to see what they might show.

I just turned Fox Sports 1, Direct TV guide channel 219, on and I have it going right now. Apparently no up grade needed. NDSU vs. KSU will be on at my house in about 13 days.

And no, I didn't fall for the DirecTV customer service reps ignorance or greed. Also watching college football kickoff show right now on FS1 and another mention of the games for Saturday, Aug 31, but nothing about Thursday or Friday evening games. WTF? Are those games just practice? They are the real kickoff. I know they want to pimp the Oregon game on Saturday, but K-state was Big12 champs last year.

The football kickoff show just covered the big12 and talked about a few teams other than K-state, but at the end of the segment said North Dakota plays Kansas State live on FS1 Aug 30..........yes, they said North Dakota. :(

Excited to watch FS Live tonight. They won't have that dumb panel and will be like their TSN show. Most of The panel last night does nothing for me. Interested to see how Roddick and Payton do and that's about it.

Looks like channel numbers for Directv have been thrown out there, but as far as the package goes, FS1 is actually in the cheaper Choice package (Speed was in the Xtra). FS2 is in the Xtra and above. For Dish customers, channel 150 in America's Top 200 and above, FS2 is channel 396 and in America's Top 250 and above, as well as the Multi-Sport pack and America's Top 120+.
