If he is not the player of the year in 1-AA it will be a miscarraige of justice. I don't know where he stacks up against everyone in the stats, but he is absolutely the best QB in the nation and for my dollar the toughest, gutsiest and best player in the country.

Early in the second half you could tell there was no way he was giving up. He was moving in the pocket and escaping sacks.

You have to say if the Walter Payton award goes to the best player in I-AA Walker should definitely be a top three finalist if not the winner. Great second half today. Great game against Minnesota, Ball State. Some games where he wasn't needed his stats weren't great but he makes plays to win games. These Bison might just earn the right to enter the Championship room. Next week they need to take care of business for the whole game not just the second half.
