They vote on this before the season is over? I mean, I want to take the whole season into consideration and tabulate all the information about strength of schedule, cross-reference that with results of rematches, take into consideration 3rd quarter performance on road games, and then vote for Coach Bohl.

Oh, who am I kidding? I'm skipping all that stuff except the last step.

Is there a prize or something for this poll that your coach would get if he won? I have to agree with NDbison that this is kind of ridiculous. I'm a big sports fan too, but even I have better things to do than vote in a poll that doesn't mean anything 100 times. If you want to vote for your coach without even considering anything else thats fine, but at least only do it once.

When your 80 years old and in your death bed, are you going to look back at the time you spent voting for Bohl, and think, yeah, that was worth it, or is there maybe something else you would like to have spent that time on?

if that's the case, i'd say that bohl probably has little hope.

instead of wasting time voting repeatedly, imo, a more promising method would be to write a succinct paragraph or two drawing parallels between Coach Bohl's demeanor and performance with managing adversity and uncertainty.

Seriously, I don't think that San Deigo deserves to go to the playoffs unless they knock off U C Davis (dream on) but, he is doing a great job as coach. (even if he is campaining for San Deigo to be put in the playoffs like a high school student body president candidate.)

Please tell me this is a joke. *It's like American Idol without the phone charges. *I'd still like to see Bohl win, but for god sake... the coach for Morehead St is in at #4. *WTF?!?!

Wouldn't it be funnier if we picked the worst coach we could find and took him to #1

Sorry for quoting myself, but think about it...we have 1426 registered members on this site.... we actually could vote on and pick the worst coach imaginable and get him to the #1 spot. All we would need to do is get him close and the band wagon jumpers would go "Hey, this is funny, can I join?" and that would skyrocket him over the top.

Tried to vote this morning and the open voting has ceased. *Liberty Mutual is going to evaluate the ten coaches who best demonstrate responsibility and excellence on and off the field will be selected.

Voting will re-open when the Finalists are posted on November 8.

Be sure to vote on and after November 8th!!!!

You would have to think that Bohl would be a dead lock to be on that finalist list. #5 in the voting and within 1 point of a perfect season.
