Good competition!

On the negative side, the Gophers backed out in basketball. Me thinks we rubbed them the wrong way after humiliating them. Note to Minnesota. We are in the same D1 as you are. Heck I think we've made the Big Dance as many times as you have since 2009

Isn't NDSU something like 1-30 against minnesota?

In football and with our team improving and their team going through changes, out chances of winning are as good as ever.

Except the bikini thread. That was a long "ass thread" that I read from start to finish...

Most people dont read long ass threads.

How would a thread get to be "long ass" if no one was reading it?

Just people repeating their moronic "half ass" ideas over and over and over?

If anyone is familiar with ass, it's you, answer guy.

Thanks for chiming in.

Too bad, TAB isn't here. He's a master of boobery.

kind of wierd to think that we kick their ass when we are not equal in football, but its reversed in bball where we are equal. i think its just a matter of time myself

This was news 5 months ago...I like Jeff and he does a great job covering the Bison but I just wish The Forum would go back to letting the men's basketball team have its own beat writer like they did in our first few years of DI play. The football beat alone is a full time job, not sure why the Heraldo has multiple reporters covering UND(with hockey getting its own beat writer) while NDSU has just Jeff and I guess on a few occasions Big E as well.

Minnesota also leads the all-time series record in football. That doesn't mean they are currently a superior football team.

Just noticed our game at Ohio State will be on the Big 10 Network. Should be fun to watch the Herd on national TV in back to back games that week...as announced previously our game at Notre Dame is on ESPNU.

It's about time we make another basketball splash. Let's go Bison!

Saul still needs a signature win. For those that desire a MVC invite the Bison need wins like these. As unlikely as it may be though.

Or at the very least, the Horizon. New facilities. ESPN game day press helps our cause. Now lets have a finale like Woodside and co

One of Notre Dame's bigs broke his hand. Out 4-6 weeks.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame forward Zach Auguste is expected to miss four to six weeks with a broken left hand.

Auguste played in 25 games last season as a freshman, averaging 3.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 10.7 minutes. The school said he fractured the hand last week, and X-rays this week confirmed the break.

Coach Mike Brey called the injury unfortunate, saying he expects the 6-foot-10 Auguste to be a key player for the Irish this season. Notre Dame opens Nov. 8 against Miami of Ohio.

Ohio St. ranked 10th and Notre Dame 22nd in the first USA Today coaches poll.
