Yeah, he just seems to have good instincts and/or reads plays rapidly. He always seemed to be at the point of attack. Thanks for that link, I really enjoyed it!!

T. Finley is a fine looking linebacker.. Sure is a blitzing machine and appears to be a leader on the team. Would be a nice addition to the green and gold.
Nice job Sams putting this thread together!!!

Sam,
I saw a young man in an Omaha Burke jacket, Football, Track, etc., who looked old to be a junior, but looked like he could be an extreme athlete. Any idea who he may have been? I see several names from Omaha that do not identify the school.

I believe Emsick was the only Burke kid in town.
But your point does remind me of 3 other Omaha kids in town

The Juneau kid is the son of Tim Juneau, former Blaine Bengal, who played with Bentrim in HS. Tim also was a tight end for the Gophers in the mid 80s and even was called up to play basketball after the Mitch Lee debacle, if anyone remembers the that and the "Iron five".
Looks like a kid with lots of talent and excellent speed for his size.

From what I've heard, the top two ND recruits were there also, Eric Bachmeier out of Kindred and Kayne Griffith of Richland.

Good info. Do find it weird a kid like Bachmeier who tweets daily had nothing to say during or after his trip

Maybe he is gunshy knowing he is being heavily recruited and peeps are following him on twitter for only that reason--I would be!!

not sure I agree, he posted pics when he went to Goopherland and when he attended NDSU spring practice earlier in the year. Also he would most likely have his page private if that was the case.

We should not require him to tweet on demand as long as he returns calls to local sports writers promptly. How do you do that purple font thing?

So just because he doesn't tweet that means something. Maybe his phone was dead. Kid can't win for losing.

nope his phone was working as he posted something that day. Still working on confirmation of stevdock's post. Maybe he meant he was at a spring practice and not the game

FYI I talked to Eric at the game. If it matters he walked in just a few minutes before rings were handed out and he walked up the aisle between section 33 and 34 if I remember right ;)

Dudes! Chill and relax! <---I have been informed that these activities have now been combined into something called "chill-axing" by the younger folks.
If I feel like it, I might go through these threads and clear out all the poopy name calling.
