So where do you think NDSU ends up next week?

I'm not a big fan of rankings but NDSU should be #3 at the very least as they should leapfrog JMU and Montana.

I don't think they will get ahead of Montana. Montana pounded Northern Colorado today so they won't fall below the Bison. I see #4. If Montana State beats Montana next week they get ahead of them in the poll. #1 will be a stretch but this team is definitely one of the top 3 teams in I-AA. Unfortunately no playoffs for this team.

Montana's too entrenched. As long as they keep winning, the Bison will NOT leapfrog them.
Maybe if they had a poor showing against NC today, but their win will LOOK as impressive as the Bison win today.
Not many of the 100+ voters are going to compare the NDSU and Montana scores against Cal Poly.

If you look at it with any objectivity, Cal Poly played both NDSU and Montana on the road in back to back weeks. *Montana won 10-9, NDSU won 51-14. *Don't tell me about how bad MT beat UNC, they are a terrible team.

Heck if you watched the MT/Poly game, the Griz won on a 1st down spot that was generous by 2 yards. Poly should have been taking a knee at the end.

I would be very dissapointed if the pollsters do not look at these facts and rank NDSU ahead. *The fact that NDSU is not eligible for the playoff could hurt in the polls however.

I'm hoping for #3, after App St and Montana. No. 3 UMass barely sqeaked out a win over No. 19 Maine, 10-9. A thrashing of a No. 9 should be worth more than that.

had some first place votes last week, I believe there were 3 that number should jump up some this week. The media will vote NDSU up just to create a story. Come on what a selling point in the top 3 and no playoffs. It'll get people talking about the Mighty Bison.

Why not number one? Everyone in I-AA thought they had the toughest schedule before the season started? They have a win over a I-A team and they lost by one on the road to a BCS team. Now add this victory over Cal Poly. I think NDSU is trying to send a message to the country that they are the best in the country.

Some one please show me a team with a tougher schedule and better record. Compare the resume of App. St vs the resume of NDSU. I think we have a clear cut number one team in the country. If NDSU were playoff eligable, no one would want to play us.

#3. *NDSU is a lock for #4 and comparing the last two weeks: Montana 10, Cal Poly 9. *NDSU 51, Cal Poly 14. *Comparing scores is imperfect at best, but it has to count for something.

Alls I know is that there are 16 teams going to church twice on Sunday thanking God the Bison can't be in teh playoffs.
