Bison crush UNC and clinch a share of WWC title

FARGO, N.D. - All five seniors won matches for the North Dakota State wrestling team on Senior Day, and the No. 25-ranked Bison defeated Northern Colorado 37-8 to clinch at least a share of the Western Wrestling Conference regular season title.

NDSU (9-8, 4-0 WWC) won eight of 10 matches and scored bonus points in six to easily defeat the Bears on Sunday in the Bison Sports Arena.

Seniors Trent Sprenkle, Mark Erickson, Joe Garner, Mac Stoll and Kallen Kleinschmidt all won their final home dual matches.

I'm very excited for the wrestling team. Do they get a lot of fans at their matches? Badlands did some wrastlin in hs, so I went to a lot of meets but didn't go to any in college. I've been following them a bit this year since they have been doing so well. Looks like the future is bright! Go Bison!
