This class looks great on paper. Time will tell. IMHO, we should only start grading classes 3-4 yrs after they sign.

Too tough to grade FCS schools recruiting.

No clue, nice poll though, Who's winning? I'm not voting because I have no clue.

I'll be voting later today, but I'll be basing my analysis on player names. So far, Sam Houston State is in front with REY BALTAZAR, DE’CHAAR GREER, SHYON MOTLAGH, and LUC SWIMBERGHE

I doubt we would ever get the "best" recruiting class as it is North Dakota. But all the 3 and 2 star recruits don't mean a lick if if you cant coach and develop them. So it really doesn't matter in NDSUs case.

Ranking classes is dumb but we have a great class of mega talented midwest guys with mega offers from peer schools and FBS offers . On paper Appalachian State smokes everyone . Just look at the offers their players had and you will know what Im saying

I didn't think SDSU had a great class.
Last year they did.

Isn't App State going FBS? If they are, aren't they irrelevant? If we decided to go FBS, we'd get even better recruits too. Not to mention the evil empire decided to pimp the s*)t out of them when they went on their title run/major upset. Plus, they're in a better part of the country to get kids to go play football for them. Eliminate them and then tell me what you think.

And I hope the evil empire gives us the same treatment if we knock off KState and make another title run.

Tough for them to top a name like Bookie Sneed.

I agree, our coaches are known to make the most from very little. We got no star no name guys and turned them into champions. The beating we laid down on Georgia Southern last year bears the testament to our coaching staffs ability, that game was a masterpeice. So I guess it dosent matter what we got this year, we can just trust that our coaching staff knows whats best.

I disagree with the very little part. We have taken advantage of big schools over looking local talent. Obviously our coaching/strength & conditioning is top notch.

Its the Midwest in general. Players up here don't get the media and recruiting attention like they do in the south. Where was Travis Becks rivals page? There is a reason teams like Minnesota Duluth and Sioux Falls are NAIA/D2 champions. Heck St Thomas even made the Championship game. There is D1 talent up here. Couple it with great facilities, coaching, and tradition, were going to win.
