A handful of days after officially leaving Georgia, Ken Malcome has all but officially landed at a new school to continue his collegiate playing career.
The running back confirmed to both the Athens Banner-Herald’s Marc Weiszer and ESPN.com’s Joe Schad that he has decided to transfer to Southern Illinois. As the Salukis are an FCS program, Malcome will be eligible to compete immediately. He’ll have two years of eligibility remaining beginning in 2013.
