Strange up and down game, the coaches decision to switch to zone defense definitely made the difference in the game.

Whittle stepping up and getting into the speed of the game, Holly Johnson still struggling.

Not sure if this is somewhere else, but is Kayla Bechen still on the IR??

Here's an indication on how low our program has sunk. It's 24 hours after a home game
and not one post. That's Sad.
Bison got out to an early lead, then the defense floundered and WIU went on something like a 27-2 run. Bison got it going in the second half and tied the game before
losing by 2. Bison defense was lacking for much of the game, and we were behind by
25 at one point. Too many good looks by WIU. They are a small team, but shoot
the 3's in large numbers, sometimes well behind the arc.
One of their players scored 30. Roughly 30 minutes into the game, WIU was shooting
a record percentage in the BSA, but that dropped in the last minutes.
Four Bison in dbl. digits, including Britney, off the bench, with 14. Katie had 23 and an excellent stat line for the night. Marena and Dani were the other two.

Attendance 495 on a saturday afternoon that's pathetic, and also shows how far it has sunk. People have really started voting with their butts now. Atheletic Directors should notice this I imagine in their year end review.. if not sooner.

With a really small amount of Defense NDSU would have won that game. Credit to WUI as their 3 point shooting was off the charts.
