I stumbled upon these via the NDSU archives:
November 4, 1922: Homecoming versus South Dakota State

Same game, but a somewhat different angle:

Homecoming: October 15, 1927

On-field shot of the game:

Dacotah Field starts evolving a bit. Cars are no longer parked in the endzones. More stands are added for fans, lights are added, and Churchill Hall has been completed. Here's a pic from Homecoming on October 25, 1930 against The School Which Shall Not Be Named:

I think this is the "new" "old" Dacotah Field from 1938:

Hope you enjoyed!! :D

Good stuff. If I remember correctly a couple of those are in the Fargodome concourse.
Here's video for you... at the end it shows part of a football game at Dacotah Field... I'm thinking it is NDSU v UND (the description says Fargo v Grand Forks).

Nice find Tony! *Of course at the time the action of the parade and game were the thing to film, but I wish they would have panned the surroundings a little more. *I can almost tell where the field was and the location of the parade photographer, but not quite.
Thanks for all the photos. I have a bunch myself and am working on the scanner to get them posted, just short of time right now.

Some of these photos were used in the old yearbooks. When I get time I can scan some others and email the them to Tony if he would want to post them.

I tried in futility to find any of those pics, but unfortunately, I don't think they exist on the internet. :'(

The cameraman at the game was standing at a point roughly between EML and FLC, facing north, and about 40 yards south of the current buildings(~1/3 the distance between them and Dinan Hall). According to the video, the parade cameraman was facing northwest/west and standing around the corner of 5th Ave N and Broadway; a little south from where the Holiday gas station is today. You can see the RR crossing arms in the film. The film was shot sometime during an even-numbered year between 1928 and 1936 during a NDAC homecoming vs. UND, but not 1930.

Holiday gas station on broadway?
What used to be the Food-N-Fuel/Holiday station has been leased by Meritcare for over five years.

Oops, guess I really haven't been paying attention the few times I've driven past there the past few years. *:-[ ;)
