All he does is blow defenders completely out of plays.

I would agree. Most other teams use their entire offense to make holes for backs, and all we do is send this tank of a man through to make holes big enough for any of us to run through.

I was talking with him after the game about the 2-point conversion play and here is his perspective. "The ball was snapped and I was on my back. I turn to look back and all I see is two defenders going for the ball. I said to myself oh shit. Next thing I know the ball is in the air, I turn around, and we scored. That's not how we draw it up, but that's exactly how we draw it up."

Great kid, great family. Most if not all of his family made it down for the game. Had the pleasure of taking a family pic for them.

Yes, PERIOD!! By the end of 3rd quarter, no SHSU defender wanted anything to do with him!!

His family was right in front of us with row 1 seats. They were hilarious.

Going to add #46 Andrew Bonnet, freshman, is pretty good too. Both of our FB's are studs.

Not only that, but Andrew has the most knowledgeable football grandma you will ever meet. I see her almost every week and she knows more about football in general and the Bison in particular than a lot of guys 1/3 her age. Definitely proud to have them all in the Bison family.

He'll never be acknowledged as the best when guys like Swope and B-Stein actually tote the rock, but I love the classic FB role at NDSU. Another Jangula, one of my favs!

I have on multiple occasions gotten his cousin (the girl in the #40 jersey) drunk off Morgan. Also have been known to throw a few back with his Aunt (the one in the green scarf) on many a bowling function. :duel::fight::biggrin::offtopic::frog:

As for the kids, they live in Oklahoma. Can't blame them for not being raised right!

i wish i had a clip of it but I think in the Wofford game, he had a block where the linebacker just went flying like the defenders did when you ran with Bo Jackson on Tecmo Bowl. It was absolutely ridiculous how bad he destroyed that guy.

it seemed like the run game struggled a bit when he was hurt mid-season and regrouped when he came back.

Swing pass to the full-back in the flat. Used to run that play all the time with the prior FB's. Don't know why it isn't used anymore.

Vigen said in an interview that opponents had that play scouted too well, along with the RB screen that they ran so much in prior years.

I don't see that many passes thrown to him like Jangula.

Fair enough but, its been a few years, so maybe he could bring it back next year. :)

The screen I understand as they have been all over it. But they really didnt utilize the FB that much in the flat for a designated play or safety valve.
