Quick comment on the weather piece. My dad was talking to someone in another part of the country and they asked him what the weather was like in Minot. He said it was 15 above. Most of you don't find that to be an odd answer but this person asked "what do you mean 'above'?" If you live somewhere that has to specify the temp as above or below zero you know it's cold.

Nice write up. Since it's the opinion page I'm surprised the Forum didn't run the disclaimer in bold on the top.
