Congratulations to the Fargo Forum

They went all out this year in the coverage of the game. I know people can find small faults every once in a while, but lets give them a hand this year! I was reading great stories about the team arriving in Frisco. I looked at the paper and the website on the drive to Texas and it kept me sane. They had the Friday sports section printed by a Dallas paper so we could have copies at the pep rally! The coverage was great, the pictures were phenomenal (I especially love Bell laying on the ground with the defense as background), and the Sunday paper is one I am saving for my boys. Three cheers for a job well done, hip hip horray, hip hip horray,..........

We got back home last night and I went uptown to get one and the gas stations were closed or sold out of the paper. Thankfully I was able to get a couple copies from our DSM from when we delivered papers (just stopped a week ago)

I talked to a photographer that night who said they were printed in Dallas, just for the pep rally fans who were not able to get one because they were not in Fargo. It was a nice treat after driving from Thursday night until Friday afternoon.

The Forum has done a good job of covering the Bison since the 80's, maybe even before then. The Kolpack's aren't just reporters, they are fans. The same goes for Izzo. It is great to have the local media be, for the most part, friendly to the home team. If you think the local media isn't friendly enough to the home team, just travel down I-94 and see how the local U is treated in that town.
