Bison football rally to celebrate title will take place tonight at the Fargodome

FARGO - A rally to celebrate the North Dakota State's football team's return to Fargo after winning the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision title will take place between tonight at the Fargodome, according to a news release from the university.


The team is expected to arrive between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. (subject to change). Parking is free. Fans are encouraged to attend.


Bison players will speak at the event.


The event will take place just north of the east side lobby at the Fargodome. More information will be made available closer to the event time.

How do you know this is their plane and not one of the other charters going back to Fargo? because it was the only one listed direct from DFW to FAR... figured the Bison plane would be the only one "scheduled" that far ahead of time.

Right now says 10:09 arrival (at the airport... assume they go to hector terminal and not fargo jet center?)

There were videos/articles on it on inforum sounded like a good turnout. Didnt hear as much because there werent any controversial chants for the media to run stories on.

Smaller than last time but still a decent turnout. It was cold as fuck (9 degrees and windy) , confusion about the start time, it was during the Vikings Packers game, and more people were in Frisco than last year. Last year I was at the dome. This year I was on the field! And the news had live coverage too so most watched from home

Was a little uncertainty about start time, they said 10, but don't think the team got there until 10:30... long time to wait in the cold windy weather outside (although the lobby was open) not sure why they held the actual rally outside though? Anybody know the reason on that? The inforum video showed clips from Gene, Bohl, and Brock. The sound was pretty crappy due to the wind so not sure if that's why it didn't get much replay.

Held outside because the floor was in use and the lobby wasn't big enough for the expected crowd.

The team was actually supposed to be back in Fargo quite a bit earlier but flight staff was late to the plane so they were something like an hour late leaving.

Yeah I definitely wondered about the nice "new" lobby...but I had no idea what the crowd is or would be like for the welcoming party.
