There was a dad and his son (about 10 yr. old) K State fans who live in Texas. They just came to watch the game. They were going to root for SHSU but quickly jumped on the bison spirit. Kudos to the guy in row ten who gave the kid a furry bison hat with the horns. They kid had a smile from ear to ear when they left.

From what i know amatuers stay at hotels....High class fans rent houses and there is only one left in manhatten on vrbo

Manhatten Motels are all full, I got a room in Junction City(16 miles). Lady making the reservation asked me if NoDak people always travel to away games like this? I said...DUH!

I educated quite a few K State fans down at the Fiesta Bowl last week. The ones I talked to knew who we were and some said they were planning on watching our game on Saturday.

I'm guessing that if you have enough bodies paying for a house it is cheaper by the day then hotel rooms needed for the same number of people.

if you get 6+ people in a group it's much cheaper can rent houses fairly cheap if you do it 3-4 days at a time. Plus you get more "room" don't have room service. But you can cook your own meals if you so desire, feel more at home than a motel usually unless you rent a dump! :)

I did the chat thing with their ticket office. As stated above single game tickets go on sale in June.
Supposedly they will give out as many tickets as the away team requests. Obviously there must be some limit depending on interest from K-State fans. Oklahoma State got all 1500 of the tickets they requested. I was thinking this could be a tough ticket to get but maybe not. Their stadium seats 50k with 53,811 being the biggest crowd.
I thought I saw something on the news the other day showing them demolish the press box side? Maybe they are expanding. I'll find out.

My ticket contact there says prices get announced in March and go on slae in June. Also read that there is no drinking in tailgate lots. I sent an email to find out if this is true. I'll be down there with a few buses. Might have to rent out our own lot to tailgate in.

The rules say no alcohol, the enforcement is much different. Just keep it in a cup and don't flaunt it and you'll be fine.

But do we stand a chance in getting a handful of them, if say, we show up with the FC? Or is everything donors/reserved?

I think the only reserved lot is directly west of the stadium. There will be room for the FC, if you want to make sure get in a lot Friday night.

Well, it wasn't all tits and roses for our young poon hound.
I picked him at her place the next morning and he proceeds to show me this horrid clump of red pustules surrounding his thingy.

At the free clinic the doctor determined that a particular ointment would be the necessary treatment.

I called the K-State ticket office @ 800-221-2287. Individual game tickets go on sale in June although they have not set an exact date yet. Tickets will be available through NDSU for away-team fans, but the number has not been determined. Typically it has been 4K - 10K for an FBS game.

Tuesday they told me they usually give the away team what they request but wouldnt say what the average was. Oklahoma St requested and received 1500 last fall.

Well they are, says delivery will be by Aug.27. It looks like a ticket broker, southeastern tickets is the seller. The same tickets are on their webpage, I also checked Dollys tickets and they have the same tickets for sale.

Could be people with season tickets. They sell the tickets and then ship them when they get them. I do that all the time with my Iowa Tickets. But this is a tad early to be selling for next year.

We did. Ya'll should be happy tho, I always sit front row at away games and am undefeated :). They were a great deal for a hyped up program...there are worse tickets for more money so that's why we jumped on it..plus it's always an unknown what will be available, etc.

Yezzir. Right next to the student section should make for a great time. I'm excited as all h*ll. Hotel in Aggieville + Front row tickets = awesome trip, win or lose.
