FCS Game just got a plug on the Fiesta Bowl broadcast. They initially showed a graphic promoting the Wisconsin-Stanford Rose Bowl game but corrected it.

Wonder if frisco people warned fc Dallas stadium personnel to have plenty of available workers they had a ton of issues last year w concessions not having enough workers and their tills not working took me 45 + mins just to get a water for my son! Thanks again to kind bison fan saw what happened to my line (just shut it down without warning or offering to move those of us to the front of other lines) and ended up buying my water and refused to take my money!

We get to the stadium and start walking around and a guy waves us down. Turns out he is the Directr of Operations at Pizza Hut Park and asked us if we wanted to walk inside. Of course we do! Once we get inside he one-ups it and asks if we want to walk on to the field. Oh man awesome! He talks about the painting of the field and we meet the man in charge of making sure its painted right. Then he takes our picture at midfield and at the NDSU end zone. Great guy and great experience!

If that was this AM Heitkamp was talking about how he couldn't believe there were Bison fans down on the field and Security will probably be coming then he says no it looks like they have someone official with them and security also. Must be someone important he said as they were not allowing people on the field!!!!!!!!!!

I ran into Heitkamp at Third Base and asked if it was us he saw and he said it was definitely us. Pretty funny!

I am stuck here up north, but just got a text from friends who are driving to Frisco. They stopped at the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial. They talked to a security guard there, and he wanted to know what was going on because the Memorial has had a steady stream of Green and Gold since they opened this morning. Cool to hear.

Saw quite a few fans out at the Legoland/Sea Life Aquarium... and a handful of Texas A&M / jOklahoma fans. All were interested in why they were seeing so much green and gold around town...

Also saw my first SHSU fans today. Poor bastards, parked and quickly made their way into the lobby, almost ashamed of their white logo on white hats.

Interesting thing to say Shaw. I'd say that our team was better than you last year and not only did we think it, we proved it on the field when it mattered.

Took the fam to stone briar mall today and saw dozens of bison fans. I had locals ask me what was going on, 'who are you playing' they asked. One guy asked how the geo. southern game was, he is a hs coach here and they want to run a triple option offense. A very nice mall with a full size ice sheet and open skating for 13 bucks each.

On TV, it looked like the stadium was 80% Bison and 20% Kat fans.

Hanging out at "The Pub" in Frisco. Turns out, it's tbe official SHSU after party. Half their team is hanging out here, and all their fans are telling us we talk funny, but so far we've only met awesome people.
