This thread contains everything you need to know about a trip to Frisco. It's a "living document" so it will change daily. If your looking for tickets, don't freak out. Book your hotels first and worry about tickets later. I can pretty much guarantee that if you wait until the game weekend, you will find a Bison fan who has an extra ticket (or knows someone) or a scalper who is feeling as uneasy as you are since he paid money for his seats and doesn't want to eat the cost. Prices are dropping dramatically ($75 as of 1/1) and with Flash Tickets (see below) you don't even need to worry about shipping the tickets. Your credit card and id is your ticket. Don't miss the Frisco events. Even if you can't get a ticket, the events leading up to the game are worthwhile. Watch the game in a Frisco bar and get the heck out of the cold! Enjoy the celebration.

SCALPERS THE WEEKEND OF THE GAME!!
Just make your trip to Texas and people will be selling them on the street. If you luck out, you may be able to get them for cheap. Of course you still run the risk of not getting tickets but scalpers will be uneasy having tickets a few days before the game starts. It's not even about the game. It's about the weekend of events. Go down to Frisco! It's 50 degrees warmer!

Here's some info on the turnpike through KS. It's not a pain in the ass and will save you a ton of time versus taking an alternative route. I believe the highest toll is $10.75 from KC to OK border. Topeka to OK border is $8.25. These rates are for cars, busses are higher. Once you're on the turnpike you won't go through toll booths until you exit to pay. There are rest areas every 50-60 miles with food and gas. This link allows you to calculate your toll based on your vehicle:

I bought a couple SRO tickets as insurance last year. They went on sale on the NCAA's website after the team allotments were spoken for. I believe they released 2000 and they were sold out in minutes.

Here is the list of the festivities happening saturday morning in/around tailgate town. The team walks are awesome, Bison fans need to show up even though you're tailgating will be on the other side! Also the pep rally is pretty cool to go to also! Then can go back to real tailgating for another hour or more before game time!

Well anyway I have a 12 passenger van rented (leaving out of Fargo) The people that were traveling with me decided to fly. I only want to put 10 people in this van, so there should be room to move around, sleep, and relax a little. I still have room for 6 more people. If interested please reply. I would be willing to pick people up along the route only, no excessive route detours.

I'm planning to leave thursday night when my wife gets off work. Will likely drive straight thru, but might stop to get a little sleep somewhere (depends if people are able to sleep and help drive). If it is run the same as last year, the practice is open to the public. But the practice is on a soccer field just north of the stadium, not in the stadium itself. You can watch through the fence.

That's at the Comfort Suites right across from the stadium...We stayed there last year and it was awesome being able to just walk out the back door and tailgate! My folks and sister are staying there again.

Last year BISON was painted white on the inside with yellow around it and the endzone was painted green. This year BISON is painted green with white around it and I'm hoping they paint the endzone yellow.

Typically, seats increase in order in the same direction as the sections increase. looking at the field from the North (i.e. Ojuri's picture) on the right side at the bottom of the picture is section 101, and presumably seat 1 is first and closest to the picture.
