His name doesn't come up on the board very often but, man, he came up big tonight!

Not even going to mention Jirik because I figure that the title game is his place to shine.

Agreed, amazing night for him and Beck too. Carlton got the block on the last FG try to end the game.

Nice article, glad you resurrected this thread. Littlejohn is a very talented athlete. Played safety in highschool olb for Bison, ilb for bison and plays all very well. His name doesn't come up on this board nearly as much as he deserves. Its just taken for granted he will perform and fill whatever role is expected of him. We're very fortunate to have him playing for the BISON!

Littlejohn makes key stops when we need them. A great tackler, great athlete: we were lucky to land him.

Totally agree. CLJ is one of those guys who has consistently shown up and might even be taken for granted a little bit. He's been tremendous since arriving on campus.

Sounds like Littlejohn will suit up for Winnipeg this Sunday.

Very good. Yes the Bombers have some LB's that are injured. I will be watching on Sunday.

If Grant goes to DC (no idea of he is in the mix), could LJ be a candidate? Not sure if he has enough experience yet but he knows Bison football. He probably needs to put in some more time but i think he's only a few years younger than Grant

Olson and Littlejohn were both freshmen according to the 2010 roster, so same age MOL.

Good for him!!!!!

Nedd creative minds on both sides of the ball, not retreads or relatively young former players.

I know I’m older, but ask the people at Comfort Suites about our film breakdown of D against UIW. I was stunned to see what I did. And it was not something I saw in real time at the Dome. Just wow!

I think he played a few years in the CFL, so he has a little less coaching experience but a little more playing experience

You should have been and to watch the breakdown of film; don't think you would have been laughing.

Would love to hear your thoughts even if it's just the Cliff notes version.

100% yes. CAS has forgotten more about football than I will ever know.

Not sure about coaching, but Carlton Littlejohn could play every LB spot, I think, and was fast and physical. I think that the man mountain, Jack Plankers, said that his first dose of "holy crap this isn't HS ball" was when he got knocked on his ass by Littlejohn in practice.

Note: My recollections are not always accurate.
