So the last two weeks @JayKornegay (https://twitter.com/JayKornegay) the sports book director (http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xv4p20_las-vegas-hotel-s-jay-kornegay-on-sports-book-innovation-and-expansion_videogames#.UMlm-lZZww0) for thelvh (http://www.thelvh.com/) has set us Bison fans up with the Hall of Fame VIP room. Week one I was unsure how many would show so I told Jay 15-25, but warned him it could get up to 40. Socalled and myself got a headcount and we had 30 in the room with at least another 20 watching over the railing. Quarters came around and again Jay gladly gave us the Hall of Fame Room again. I told him we might not have as many people as the pharmacy convention the week before was a majority of the fans. Wouldnt ya know it, week 2 has just as many fans.

So I ask him again for a location for Friday. He told me how impressed he was with the NDSU fans and the support for this team so he upgraded us. From the Hall of Fame room to a reserved private party in the FAN CAVE (http://www.thelvh.com/sportsviewing)

I cant express how awesome LVH has been to us and asked for nothing in return.

So send Jay a tweet and tell him thanks for helping Bison fans out or like that Fan Cave Page and make them wonder how they went from 2 likes to 50. Or better yet, next time you are in Vegas give them a try, whether it be for a dinner or show or table games or even to stay there for a weekend. They have shown us some love and they deserve to be rewarded.

Just to make it official I went to McCarran Airport and stood at the bottom of the escalators with my placard I got from the Alumni Association saying welcome bison fans when the Allegiant flight from Fargo landed in Vegas this afternoon

My parents are going to be in Vegas the weekend of the chipper with some of their friends and were wondering where they could watch the game. I told them to head to the LVH, and just to make sure, my mom emailed them through their website. This is the note she got back from Jay. I thought I'd share it incase there are others who are going to be in LV instead of being able to make it to Frisco.


We have been showing the NDSU games in the sports book area throughout the playoffs. We will definitely have the championship game up on the screens but we’re not sure about the audio for it just yet. January 5th is NFL wild card weekend and we could be obligated to have the sound on one of those games. This will be based on the popularity of the NFL playing that particular day.

Once we find out which NFL teams playing that day, we’ll know if we’ll be able to have the sound on the NDSU game. We hope we can accommodate both. Again, we’ll definitely have the NDSU game up on the screens but we’re just not sure of the audio…yet.

Thanks again to SamsRams and LVH for setting this up. It was a great place to watch the game (even with the KnuckleHead Fans in there) and one of the best/biggest sports book that I have been to in Vegas. I am going to recommend it to a group that goes to vegas for the March Madness weekend. Hope to see you in Frisco.

I'm pretty sure that the wild card Saturday NFL games are at 3PM and 7:30PM CT so they shouldn't interfere much with the 12PM CT FCS championship game.

They might know that and are assuming it is on later in the day since the previous games have been 3PM and 7PM.

Yeah, I told them they should have sound if the NFL is all their worried about. IIRC, last year we went to dinner after our game and still caught the majority (if not all) of both NFL games at 3rd base afterwards.
