This sucks. Always a good opportunity for mid-majors to (1) showcase their teams and (2) improve their RPI by playing quality opponents. Not sure how this impacts our scheduling - I assume this means we won't get a return game with our opponent for this year's matchup???

That sucks, the article doesn't really say what the real problem is past some vague mention of the landscape of college sports.

Too many teams switching leagues. Leagues are getting different TV deals other than ESPN.

No doubt this sucks, as it was a fun game as an OOC break in the middle of league play, but given our OOC schedule this year and hoping to build on that in the years to come all of the teams that participated just have one more game to schedule so maybe we can still get a decent matchup with an OOC team. It would be kinda cool even to fill that extra spot with a game against ORU every year.
