Does anyone know if we have a shot at Sam Maresh from Champlain Park, brother of Mike Maresh?

I don't know if we do, but a MLB who goes 260 pounds is an idea I like. Heck, even if he doesn't play LB, at 260 he could probably play some DL. The type of size and athleticism he has is definitely something it would be nice to have.

Anyone have anymore info on him? Is he being recruited by anyone else? I would think with coach Bohls comments about recruiting only top notch players will be targeted (not saying he isn't top notch don't know anything about him). Just wondering.

Here is a story on him, but it is from before the season. He is a junior this year, so he would be a 2008 recruit.

I saw Mike recently in the Media Relations office and asked him how his little brother was doing. He responded " You mean my big little brother". I guess he was at the Cal Poly game.

Speaking of Mike- I asked him in class yesterday - So, wrestling practice for Mike now? His response was "Rest time for Mike now. Maybe after Christmas, we'll see." Aho said they have strict instructions from Bucky not to bother him about it. ;D Says all that will do is turn him off to the idea.

He deserves some time off to rest and be "just" a college student like the rest of the football team. *Hope he wrestles, though. *What a talented athlete.

Sam was at the game on Saturday he's only a Junior this year, NDSU has him on the radar screen and he wants to play football! Good kid great family.
