The line says Montana St. -3 but Sagarin says Sam Houston by 3.69. Weather at kickoff will be 32 degrees with a 20mph wind.
It should be interesting to see if the Bobcats run defense is up to the task. Should be a whale of a game!

Dont really have bad blood with either. I just want the Bison to win a championship, so I have a hard time choosing. Right now I am rooting for SHSU but once the game starts I may change my mind. I know that I want Illinois State to win the other game.

I wouldn't necessarily say that. MSU's Quarterback is horrible in the cold (TX guy). Someone mentioned that to me a while back and I didn't think it would be that relative but if you look at his stats from games early in the year compared to later there is a significant difference.

HS rule is never an automatic first down but it is a 10-yard penalty. The enforcement spot depends on if the hold was during a running play (end of related run) or a loose ball play (previous spot). There is an unfair aspect to this. Let's say the QB drops back to pass and the receiver he's going to throw to is getting held downfield. He gets sacked for a 10-yard loss. Since it's a running play by rule (no forward pass thrown) the penalty is enforced from the end of the run which is where the QB was sacked. It would result in a replay of the down with the same distance since it is enforced from where the QB was sacked. NCAA enforces this from the previous spot since the run ended behind the LOS.

NFL rule is 5-yards previous spot and an automatic first down.
