Those are pretty sweet. I remembered a few years back we had a yellow uniform we wore at home and at neutral sites from time to time. Nice to see the hoops team getting some uniform love.

Hope NDSU continues to do the right thing and leave the last names out. They have no business in college basketball, IMO.

exactly... If you're not a fan enough to know what their names are by the 2nd game or so from their face/#, no need for names. Name on the front is all that matters.

Does the lettering look black or dark green. I can't tell. That defiantly is not NDSU shade of green. I guess come to think of it the home jerseys have a really dark green. I like the bison logo and not that B on the other jerseys.

Certainly explains why a good majority of DI teams have them on the back.

Numbers and trim look bison green to me. What is the logo opposite the Nike swoosh on the jersey? Is that a Summit logo, I can't tell?

I like the idea of yellow (gold), but they look dated already with that white border trim. Why have that around numbers/letters? Why not just a clean contrast of green vs gold with the numbers? IMO that would be really slick. The white border makes it look like the high school jerseys from the 80's.

Also, could not care any less about names on back. May lean towards having them because it would be cool as a player to hold a jersey with my name on it for the first time. Doesn't take anything at all away from the experience. Maybe I'm too young (mid 30's), but I hold no illusions about college sports (especially modern D1 sports) being some sacred selfless act of giving it your all for the gipper and your alma mater.

Don't believe the players get to keep them anyways (I don't think?? is that a violation of NCAA rules for giving a gift maybe? or am I off base as I really don't know and probably am stating a complete falsehood for all I know, perhaps they can buy them at the locker room sale or get first shot at buying them?) so what's the point of the name? More players behind them will wear the same number. A players name on a jersey is just an ego thing, as I said name on the front matters the most as that is the team you play for.

That line about the name on the back is just a silly ol' cliche, as if teams with or without names actually perform more or less like teams.

Names on the back of the jerseys are terrible looking. Keep it a program thing.

FWIW the football AND the basketball teams are undefeated in their new gold jerseys. :D BTW I thought they looked really sharp today at the game.

I've always liked the non-white "lighter" home jersey. I know that gold/yellow is the common one, but I've seen Clemson and Illinois (and maybe Syracuse) do Orange when it is an acceptable contrast to the opponent. Also think Ohio State does gray/silver. It would be cool if all sports just used white when it is an actual team color (say Penn State) or only when needed. Love the look of the annual USC-UCLA football game where they both wear home unis.
