Question on tailgating items --- whether it be vehicles or other props used that day.

If you want a custom paint job, how do you go about doing it. Those with the skill do it themselves, I'm guessing. Those who don't want to do it, where do they take that item? To a body shop? I'm looking for some input here.

Also, Bison logos on items. Do you have to get permission to put them on, or do you just do it?

Thanks for your responses.

Just enjoying the tailgating atmosphere, and I want to do something down the road to enjoy it even more.

We took our bus to Custom Graphics in Fargo, didn't do a paint job though, he had a wrap put on it. Both CG and our group contacted NDSU to make sure it was OK to use the logo.

Go to Sign A Rama on 13th Ave in Fargo. I think they have some pre approved artwork . They have done hundreds of them http://www.signarama.com/store/local/fargo-nd

Here's their Facebook page with pics http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.345547925497597.100502.123691577683234&type=3

What kind of vehicle is it? I got a quote on a wrap once and its spendy. Its cheaper to do custom graphics

Not a vehicle. Looking at some unnamed props that I could bring to tailgating.

Cool. On their fb page they have everything from custom wrapped fridges to cardboard cutouts.

Technically, you need permission to use the logo unless it's on an already approved product like a decal.

They had a feature on the news a while back and they said they prefer it if you run a design by them for approval, especially on vehicles, etc, but they had approved every design that had been sent to them.

They only want to see designs to make sure the trademarked logos aren't being misused/abused otherwise they would be dumb to not approve. It is free advertising for NDSU.
