The 11/8 issue had a graphic showing the "College men's teams with most wins in first season in Division I". NDSU was tied with Oral Roberts at #3 with 26. The first 2 were Seattle with 29 (1953), Maryland Eastern Shore (1974) with 27. Only Seattle and NDSU made tha NCAA tournament that same year.
