Wow...SDSU just is not getting much love in the polls. This just makes me think of 2007. NDSU #1 in the polls with SDSU at the end of the season (I know we have one game after that), and our team is struggling offensively...just like 2007. One of our rb's is playing injured...just like 2007. 2007 had more desperation in the wins...but I find it very concerning that the Bison only scored once in the second half on Saturday.

Werent we undefeated heading into that game?

As an aside...Good memories from that game. I was booing bohl for not going for it on a 4th down...his mom and girlfriend (im guessing she is wife now?) were sitting right behind me. I apologized and ended up talking to his mom quite abit about coaching and related to her that my mother comes to all the games I coach and has to hear it too. It ended up being a really cool conversation.

I'm just thankful that's far enough away that no one from this team was on that team. Only we as fans and the coaches that are still on staff have memories of that game. Ride the beat down we gave them last year and rise to the occasion! One of their goals is to win a conference title, well here's your chance! Take it!

Wow, significant wins by NDSU over SDSU, and Illinois State could cause both of them to drop out of the top 24.
Of course NDSU needs to take of business 1 game at a time.
Who does Indiana State have left to play??

the world is right again with NDSU on top of the polls. So, if ndsu wins at least 1 of the next 2...we outta be a 1 or 2 right?

sam houston will lose to a&m, and while they "say" fbs losses don't hurt, i believe it doesnt help either.

montana st plays @ montana so thatll be interesting.

ODU moves up after this year so i doubt they'll get some benefit and a seed, and GSU plays at #6 Georgia.

We have to win out to get 1 or 2. Unless like every team in the top 10 loses.

So for the rest of the year the Bison will play top 25 teams. 2 regular season and then on to post season. No more cupcakes or easy weeks. There is some good football to left to be played.

Exactly this. I think the committee would be well in their rights to leave SHSU out this year as I think they want to start sending the message to quit scheduling sub-DI's and multiple FBS teams, and Sam did both this year and, assuming they beat NWSt. and lose to A&M, they'll have "just" seven D-I wins this year which falls wells hort of the multiple power-four conference teams that will have 8 D-I wins. Obviously still plenty of stuff to shake out with two weeks left to play and much of this is still speculative, but to say Sam is in if they win this week is inaccurate.

im not hitting the panic button quite yet.

the defense, as proven before, is so damn good that if the offense isn't clicking, it'll keep the bison the game to the very end. and really...was missouri states second half the best half any team has put up on NDSU's defense this year with a whopping 10 points? maybe a Northern Iowa half...but let's not go jumping ship.

Once Vraa gets his feet back under him after missing a few weeks, the offense will open up again with Vraa, Smitty and Gebhart.

NDSU needs a bye week like no other, havent had one since week 3.

As a talking point, Missouri State DID score the second-most on NDSU of any team in 2010 after Minnesota. Just sayin'.

And it did take us to have a unbelievable 3rd quarter last year to put up the points otherwise it may have been close.

opening kick off returned for TD
Then MSU fumbles on the next play after the kick off and we end up with a FG
Then MSU fumbles the next kick off and we score a TD

We don't have a win this season against a winning team so it's time to start playing for keeps with this game against SDSU! Illinois state will be tough too but let's start with this game and work our way up! If we play with some passion we should win.

If they win this week, they are Southland co-champs and UCA will get the autobid by virtue of the head to head win. So, you're saying the Southland doesn't deserve two teams in the Tournament? You have a right to that opinion and I'm not going to argue about it. I don't think the Selection Committee will see it the way you do.
