Sagarin update

After the 2nd round of playoffs NDSU remains #1 in the composite, is now #2 in the BCS behind Montana (down from #1 last week), and is now #1 in the predictor (up from #2 last week).

NDSU had a great year as the numbers bear out and it is disappointing they had no shot at the playoffs.

if i was better at math, i'd tell you that NDSU could or couldn't drop below #1.

I'd have to think that if one of the 1-AA teams ranked high in the Sagarin wins the national title that they would jump NDSU. We had a great season and deserve to be highly rated, but it is hard to argue against a team that goes through the season and playoffs and can put a nice shiny trophy on their shelf.
