Rumor has it, on the construction site for the new arena, there will be a prominent display of Bison pride. Can't say more than that, publicly. I sure hope it comes to fruition.

I really don't know anything about what company or who is up to what, but I heard that you will see a very prominent display of Bison pride on the site.

I hope not! I pay enough in tuition the way it is! I can't imagine the cost to NDSU to drive that down there! Lower tuition, don't drive that cement truck around!

This is pure truth! Stop spending our tuition money on cement trucks, NDSU! EZ, I calculated the cost to drive that rig down to Sioux Falls and it's approximately $50,000....You'll want to watch for this fee hidden on your next tuition bill.

I hope they upgrade the seating sometime soon. Would be a decent place if it didn't look so much like a high school facility.

I have been simply fascinated that they are more interested in having an indoor practice facility than fixing their shithole stadium. (Correction; six port-a-john shithole stadium.) Rowdy, please explain the logic to us Bison folk.

Mike Sullivan of the Sioux Falls Sports Authority was on the radio yesterday and I think he said 7500 tickets have been sold.

The Dakota Dome will always suck. You cant put lipstick on a pig. No matter what they have a crap stadium by conference standards. But a fancy indoor practice facility will give them something most teams in the valley dont have.

The problem is the practice facility may actually be nicer than their stadium !

I'm very surprised the sales aren't going better. Especially if they can sell 8-10 thousand in vermtown. I would be shocked if we couldn't get 4,000 to Sioux Falls, considering not everyone can get tickets in Fargo. I hope more people decide to go.I would guess there will be a significant walk-up that day. This isn't a fan base that is used to sellouts so there's probably a lack of urgency...and its SD pheasant opener...

Did anybody get the map sent with your tickets, it shows Bison fans to go to a lot over by the SF Pheasants baseball field. F-that!! Where do you all plan on tailgating? Which lot? My dad and I are rolling down for this game.

That WILL be the best spot. I noted in a different thread to GET THERE EARLY. There is going to be a parking disaster and you if want to tailgate, stay overnight in Sioux Falls, or get you ass out of bed and be there before noon.

Also, I need to completely agree with Gabe. It is simply embarrassing if NDSU is not more than 60% of the fans. If we snap up the tickets now, the last minute USD fans will be SOL.

That's a great question haha. I don't really care about being a parking lot closer to the Stadium, I just want to be in the most active lot...(some would say it's where we park, by default ;))

What is the consensus on where to park?

I think there must have been some kind of agreement with Glen that they would do everything they can to keep this from being a Bison home game.......
