I was there. Gene made a crack about speeding tickets waiting for Bohl to show up to speak. The band took their show inside Scheels, marching/playing throughout the store for about ten minutes. Pretty cool!

They have some new Bison items in. They have a shirt that says "I'll show you mine" on the front, and "If you show me yours" with a picture of the championship ring on the back. Picked up three.

Is it Saturday yet?

He also said something along the lines of "I once had an old ball coach that said blah blah blah, so let's go out and kill a mosquito with an ax! Let's beat those chumps 99-0!" His voice was a little raspy so either he's a little ill, been screaming at the team all week, or has been doing a lot of meet and greets and audio bits. Honestly though, he seemed quite enthused about this game and for the season to start. Which is weird because he is usually reserved when it comes to stuff like this. I think he's ready for the season to start so people stop asking about last season.
