So last season we had consistent play but I'm curious if any of you know anything for this season. Our new punter seemed alright in the spring game but has he been progressing well? As far as our kicking goes I know nothing. I guess I'll find out soon enough but just wondering if there was info I may have missed and what I should expect for the opener.

I am interested as well to know if Dinwiddie is going to be returning punts or kicks as supposedly he was really good at this? If he isn't who is going to be doing that if somebody knows?

You can never tell what will happen with specialists until you get them in a game, at least that is what Bohl said, my guess he is right. My take is that he is comfortable where they are, but they have not been battle tested. Three games to do that before the Valley.

Thanks for some of the info. I know special teams is very situational and random at times. I just hadn't heard much about the leg strength or accuracy of these guys and whether they looked like they were filling in well for our team this year. I guess no news is good news sometimes.

As far as returners go? Well, considering two of our best players are there again, I definitely see that part of our special teams as a huge strength. I will be expecting a few touchdowns from them just like last year. Anybody else just get super pumped up watching Smith dart into the endzone against SDSU?

If Bohl really feels that way, maybe he should use them less and give the offense 4 downs to play with more.
