It’s not unheard of for a college football player to miss most ................... http://www.inforum.com/event/article/id/370827/

I'm glad to see he is healthy, having some confidence in that area is a game changer imo.

"Head coach Craig Bohl said right now he would have no problem letting Keller attempt a field goal from 48 yards and in at the Fargodome."

That would be impressive, but still not a team record. From the media guide:
LONGEST FIELD GOAL
55 yards, Ken Johnson, 1997, vs. South Dakota State

Glad to hear this position is set. I have a feeling we are going to need him to win a couple games this year.

A 48 yard boot is still one helluva kick and I'm glad to see confidence in him for this position... Definitely can be a game changer.

I'm disappointed that Kolpack didn't report about his clutch-ness and how that translates into points on the board.

Anyhow, good to see Keller finally healthy.

I seriously doubt our offense will ever be stopped outside the 31 yard line.

Wasn't that FG against USD at their place? At least, that's how I remember it: Last game of the season, NDSU playing like crap, finally get going, and they need the 55-yarder to go to the playoffs.

It's the "State" part I was wondering about... my memory is going. Maybe Ken Johnson hit two 50+ yarders that season, one against SDSU and one against USD.
