Ben Clark - running 400 miles on campus this week

NDSU student Ben Clark is on his way to running 400 miles on the NDSU campus this week. He plans on running 135 laps around the campus. Starting at 19th ave and University Drive, he is running west to 18th St, then south to 12th Ave, then east to University, then north to 19th Ave. He is hoping to raise $10,000 for the American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association.

Donations can be made in person in the NE corner of the Fargodome lot.

Good grief. Has something like this ever been done before? The article says he'll run from August 11-August 19 (9 days). That's about 44 miles/day (or 1 2/3 marathons every day!!). If he pulls this off this has to be one of the greatest athletic feats of all time (totally serious).
