looks kind of skinny probably needs to add 40+ pounds but interested to see what he can do next year

I left him off intentionally. Probably shouldn't have. I typically consider guys announced on signing days as borderline scholly guys but I suppose the same could be said for all of them.

Sounds like he knows about hard work and that he needs to gain a few pounds. Looks like a good transfer.

Perkins is a nice player. Hard-nosed kid, pretty shifty. Reported 4.5 40 and 36" vertical. Undersized certainly. Probably a slot guy. Barneson is a late bloomer; I believe he played soccer until sophomore year and has just two years of football. Good developmental guy to take a chance on.

I believe he was hurt at bemidji then transfered to mary.

I could be wrong, but I thought if you transfered up in division, you do not have to sit out a year.
Isn't this why JUCO's can come right in and play?

Going from a JUCO to any level is not the same as going from DII to FCS or FCS to FBS. You do have to sit out a year in the later case just as you would if you moved laterally.

That is what I had thought. So he will be playing no sooner than 2013-14, which probably would have been the case anyway.
