This will be the complete thread providing information for the Colorado State game. There are links for Tickets, Lodging & Activities. I will also add a summary of Bisonvillers who will be attending.
Please post how many in your group including yourself, travel plans, where you are staying, ticket location, where you got (or will get) tickets from, and planned activities before or after game? Thanks!
I have yet to make any arrangements and I believe many at Bisonville have yet to do so.

Why have two threads on this? Nothing is updated in the other thread's first post because noone has tickets. The only seats you can buy now are crap and expensive.

I believe the other thread was just an early roll call thread. I decided to start this one and provide some links and info as it becomes available (also eventually will have a list of Bisonvillers going to game). If you have some links or info post them here and I will add to the first post in the thread. Chill out dude!

According to gobison.com the visiting team's allotment is in section I.

Since don't have many priority points, I'm just going to get tickets on my own, preferably somewhere on the same side of the stadium.

I'm surprised they let other breweries even enter the state! Its coors, micro brews, and then nothing else in colorado

Lots of breweries in Fort Collins. Here are a couple

Budweiser:

http://www.budweisertours.com/z01/index.php/fort-collins/overview/

New Belgium (maker of Fat Tire):

http://www.newbelgium.com/culture/brewery/visit-us.aspx

Odell's (they make a couple nice IPAs/Ales)

http://odellbrewing.com/
Left Hand Brewery is not far away in Longmont

There are a few lesser-known ones too, but these are the main ones.

From wikipedia:

Brewing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brewing) is big business in Colorado (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colorado). According to The Beer Institute, the state ranked number one in terms of gross beer production, producing over 23,370,848 barrels in 2006.[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colorado_breweries#cite_note-0) It is also ranked fourth in the country in number of brewpubs and craft breweries according to The Brewers Associaion.[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colorado_breweries#cite_note-1) Denver ranks first in the nation in beer production per capita and second in the number of breweries.[3] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colorado_breweries#cite_note-2)Colorado is home to 4 of the top-50 brewing companies in the nation. There are 139 breweries statewide.[4] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colorado_breweries#cite_note-3)

We toured the Budweiser brewery in St. Louis in 2009 and they gave everyone 2 pint glasses at the end of our tour. They must have had every type of beer they brew on tap to choose from.

Does anyone know the recent year and the score between the Gophers and Rams. I believe it was between the years that we beat the Gophers. The Rams were thumped. Might help in the bragging rights when the Rams fans tell us that we are a POS.

Doesn't make a lot of sense...you'd think CSU would want these on sale ASAP. Only thing I can think of is maybe CSU wants Bison fans to feel like they should get their tickets early from our allocation instead of taking over several other sections (this will happen anyway). Begs the question: Who's going to go through GoBison and who's going to wait?? I'll probably wait....

Just called the Rams ticket office and asked why the date was switched on purchasing tickets for our game. Answer was "to allow our Rams club members priority on buying tickets first". I take a couple things from that. 1) maybe their thinking the members can make some money on this game, or 2) maybe they hope they can limit how many bison fans get tickets to the game. I said our game was the only one that was changed and she said "that is correct". Whatever they do I WILL BE THERE!!!!!!!!

I see the lightning bolt but what's been bugging me since this was posted is the lack of the white and green stripes on our helmet. I wasn't going to say anything and just chalk it up to a lazy printing job. Somebody please tell me with all the fixing of things that aren't broken lately, we didn't change our helmets and remove the stripes.

I just bought 2 tickets even though their site doesn't show the exact seats on ordering page. I clicked on section HL when ordering them and put in the comments that we wanted to be anywhere near the visitor's section (section I).

It's kind of a rip-off that they charge $7.00 for delivery in the U.S. mail on top of the $5/ticket service fee. :(

Looks like CSU's website is available to buy tickets this morning. I didn't process an order all the way to the end but $40 seats are available in sections A, B, H & I (corner sections) and the endzone. I believe our allotment seats are in section I??? I have a request in through GoBison but not sure if I have enough TeamMaker points. Just a heads up before CSU decides to change the process again.

I'm going to wait until 8am mountain time. Don't trust a system that charges me for a seat, the doesn't give me an assigned seat, the charges me five dollars for the privilege, then charges seven dollars to mail the tickets or ten to hold them at will call. This has the chewbacca defense written all over it.

And yet, its still better than USD...

I think I saw a package deal on CSU's site: Buy 1 ticket to the USD/NDSU game and you get unlimited tickets to the CSU/NDSU game. Then, you also get a FREE ticket to Colgate/USD.......that free ticket allows you to buy unlimited tickets to the Augie/SF game as well. Finally, for each ticket purchased, you get 10 free tickets to a monster truck show anywhere in Europe......sweet deal!

If you choose seats by section on their website, you are able to click on either the "lower" or "upper" portions of a section. The section letters run continuously all the way from the field to the top, so I would assume the row numbers are continuous also from row 1 at the field to whatever the highest number row is at the top. But then we have seen some unique ways to number sections and seats (UNI).

It's kinda-sorta the upper deck. It's not a separate deck, but an extension of the lower bowl. Here's a decent photo. Section H is the first full upper section on the right. It looks like your seats are between the first two entrances on the right side of the photo. Bleacher seating, btw.

Mile High atmosphere is different from the old stadium to the new stadium. I do love the pounding on the steel floors throughout the whole stadium. And the vibrating stands. The loudest game I remember being at was the last bison/suck game in FFD when Babbich went for it 4 times from the 1 yard line. 3.2 beer is sold IN the stadium.

The gentleman I talked to also said that they have a new AD and are looking at changing some game day stuff and looking at past traditions etc. Thats when he said the hours of tailgate may be changed but nothing has been done so far. He also mentioned that because beer is sold in the stadium they are concerned about those that would get a big head start and there would be alcohol related problems.

:) It's like the old joke about why baseball players walk to first base. Have you ever tried running with 4 balls?

How does your wife feel about this?

What do you do with an elephant with 3 balls? Walk him and pitch to the rhino.

One of the guys in our group got two rooms last night, from the sounds of it the NDSU blocks are either sold out or very close. Wonder how many rooms the alumni association reserved total?
