its not me, we are a team effort here at BV. without all your support and bikini threads I would be just another YSU poster who posts updates for noone to read.

Incoming junior? Does he have his redshirt year left still?

Any good player is a good get but with all the D-linemen in next year's Junior class I hope he can redshirt or is an incoming sophomore. Great measurables and having interest from Oklahoma (per Scout) can't be a bad sign regarding the caliber of player he is.

Any good player is a good get but with all the D-linemen in next year's Junior class I hope he can redshirt or is an incoming sophomore. Great measurables and having interest from Oklahome (per Scout) can't be a bad sign regarding the caliber of player he is.

I hope hes good because we dont have a ton of scholarships next year. But weve had some decent success with NDSCS defensive players like Gatlin, Christian Dallas, and Mike Brown

The common theme I see from NDSCS is
1) Don't seem to make an impact in year 1
2) become starters as seniors

So this guy better spend some major time in the playbook and get up to speed fast. With Emmanuel and Jirik being the obvious starters as well as Sr Rickey Hagen, So DE Mike Hardie, and a few other guys with time in the system - I would be suprised if he plays this year. Maybe next year he has a shot to be a backup at best. Starters just seem to be too solid. I hope Bohl knows what hes doing. He usually does. Maybe hes a walk on?

Interest from Oklahoma St. and other Big 12 schools. 4.7 forty. I think he'll have a shot to be more than a backup at best and be in the rotation this year.

How does NDSCS have so many good prospects every year?

Here he is listed on a list of the top JUCO DE's in the nation.

It states.......

North Dakota State College of Science DE Jeremy Gordon - Gordon has been a real force off the edge for the Wildcats this season, posting 21 tackles, 11 tackles-for-loss and four sacks this year.

Yea but NDSCS? It's not like it's a bad thing but of all the JUCOs to go to alot of really good players choose NDSCS it has to be more than just a coincidence

Seriously look at JUCO's all over the state. A lot of them are going to have BCS talent on it. I'm pretty sure Mesaba Range CC or whatever in the MN iron range used to be a national power, no?

Trying to find more info on him but the NDSCS website is total garbage

6-3, 245
2 year starter
1st team All Region both years
Honorable Mention All Conference both years

According to Izzo he had 36 tackles and 4 sacks this last year and was being looked at by some big time schools like Okalahma State but he hadn't gotten his school work squared away yet. Video http://www.wday.com/event/article/id/63939/group/Sports/

Scout site also lists USD and UND as interested. UND also offered him out of high school http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=193&f=2561&t=5523870

A scout website listed him as one of the top 10 JUCO's in the nation. (Burghandy found it thx)

Welcome to the Bison Jeremy. Note to AJ Cooper. Please teach the young man how to tackle. Lots of arm tackles.

He joins Antonio Rodgers from California as the 2nd JUCO player on the 2012 roster.

Im not sure which part of this is wrong but here are a few options:
1) neither he or Rodgers are on the roster, they did however sign LOI's
2) DD2 also signed an LOI and is also Juco
3) assuming everything works out with the 3 (announced) JC transfers and they all make the 2012 roster, that would make 4 JC players on the roster (Boyd)

I think he meant to say
He joins Antonio Rodgers from California as the 2nd JUCO player on the defensive side of the ball to commit to NDSU this off season
