From the time he fell just short in the state wrestling tournament, Righetti’s Josh Rodriguez stepped it up a notch. He knew he could compete at the national level and he did.

Rodriguez won the senior 120 pound division title at the 23rd Annual National High School Wrestling Championships, held in Virginia Beach on April 1.

Now Rodriguez will be competing on a national level every time he takes to the mat. With family and his high school coach looking on, Rodriguez signed a letter of intent Monday to attend North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota.

I don't follow wrestling, but is this like a big deal/signing?

What kind of finishing move does he have? Does he have a manager? Would he want his own segment to bring in guests? Is he a hero or villain?

It's a pretty good signing. For the most part, anybody who's anybody goes to the championships in Virginia beach. Pretty good competition there, hopefully this will be the start of some top notch recruits

What ever happened to that kid from Oregon they got last year? Did he redshirt?
