Have a student teacher from NDSU in one of the buildings where I work. Today, he's wearing a und sue hockey jacket, complete with logo. Told him "No, you CAN'T wear that it you go to NDSU." His reply: "I'm a hockey fan." Man, he just DID NOT GET IT!!!

I've deleted any "friends" on Facebook who cheer for or post good things about UND.

So is this person a Student-teacher at NDSU? Or at a different public school in the area...I am confused.

^^^^This = automatic FAIL for student teaching. I'm sure there is a law somewhere that specifically states this. Oh, hey, I found it:
"Should a student of NDSU (past, current, or future), during the course of attending classes, skipping classes, thinking about classes, thinking about women, thinking about Bison National Championship teams, attending keg parties, performing internships, STUDENT TEACHING, eating, sleeping, walking, breathing, posting on the esteemed message board known as Bisonville or any other normal function of life for a sensible person sport any type of Siouxage clothing, that failure of a human being shall receive a failing grade in the class and life. This embarassment of a student will be notified of named epic fail at their graduation ceremony with a fake diploma that states, "You are a dipshit and an asshat!". They shall then receive a kick in the groin and be persecuted forever more on Bisonville."
Ok, I know that's some pretty technical legal terminology there but it pretty much spells it out, IMO.
Hell, I'd tell I appreciate his forward thinking as the Fighting Sioux will be playing [Insert High School Team's Mascot Here] in about three years while at the same time providing a signal to others that he's a first-class douche.

Just ask these NDSU/UND hockey only fans a scenario. I have 2 free 50 yard line tickets to a Bison football game and center ice tickets to a UND hockey game. The only problem is they are at the exact same time. Which one are you do you take? Their answer should lead you to their true colors.

Had opportunity to be on the NDSU campus a couple times this year.
I've seen UND Fighting Sioux shirts on students going to class.

I talked to a former student of mine a few days ago who is working for the WF parks and rec this summer. She went to NDSU for pre-nursing. She is going to UND now and she says she wears her NDSU stuff as much as she can. She also says how much she misses NDSU/Fargo. It goes both ways. Also a good friend of mine went back to school to get a law degree from UND about 5 years ago. He would wear his NDSU stuff also because he got his first degree there.

And they would all come to Fargo on a Friday night, plugging up our movie theaters and our Red Lobster

I taught at the high school up in Thief River Falls one year. Another teacher gave me a UND sweatshirt for Christmas just to be funny knowing I was a Bison fan. I told him that I would use it to wash my car when it got warm enough in the spring and then left the dirty shirt on his desk once I had used it to wash the car. :)
