It would seem that there aren't too many blue chippers or even average players left to recruit that this stage of the year. Did the Jacks get a late start or just not have good luck with their recruiting this year?

I am sure you could change the SDSU to NDSU and Stigs name to Bohl and it would ring true for our program also. There seems to always be some turnover and a few that don't make grades or leave the team that allow extra money to be available.

Given his resources, Stig has done a hell of a job. Small town, old outdoor stadium, and less resources overall. They snagged some good players out of Nebraska

Stig always saves a little for potential late additions. This is how we landed Cole Brodie a few years ago. He was hoping for an offer from an FBS school that did not come. So we got an All Conference player.
