Mac Stoll was selected as an at large entrant at 184, so the Bison will have 3 wrestlers in the tournament.

I like that....Monk and Dake in the semis hopefully avenging his loss to Kyle earlier in the year plus St. John - Welch round 2 to decide who wrestles Monk for the National Championship. Watched St. John gut out an amazing win against the previously undefeated Welch in the Big 10 finals with a takedown with maybe 7 seconds to go. Good luck to all 3 guys. ;)

I am glad to see the kid from Nebraska on the otherside of the bracket. Monk did not match up well with him earlier in the year. ;)

Trent has a pretty slim chance of getting by McDonough (Iowa) in the 2nd round.....he will probably win it.

Monk has the best chance at moving on. Drake is an animal but you never know with match-ups. Drake and Taylor (165 this year....was 157 last year) would have been an awesome match to see.

Pat Rollins was fun to watch in high school. I was happy I was 3 or 4 weight classes higher. He scared me.

Stoll out, Sprenkle and Monk still alive with one loss and each are 1 win away from being an All-American. Sprenkle faces #2 Zach Sanders of Minnesota, and Monk Faces #11 Green from Nebraska in their next match

Sprenkle loses 5-4 to Sanders after leading most of the match.

Cale Sanderson has really turned Penn State into a wrestling powerhouse the last couple of years. It looks like they will be loaded next year also. 7 champions from the Big 10 and the other 3 from Cornell.

Monk has a really good chance at becoming an AA next year or the year after. I'm looking forward to seeing how our Hwt. (Evan Knutson) does in the next couple of years. He seems like he has the potential to become very good.....has that "toughness" in him.

Monk will get All America. Mark it down

Who wouldn't want to go wrestle for Sanderson? He gets the cream of the crop in recruiting since he's a big name coach. Monk should AA, however he HAS to get better offense on his feet to truly take it to the next level. Sprenkle had tough luck ending up facing the 1 and 2 seeds, last match was very winnable though. Hopefully a good recruiting class to come this spring for the Bison.

Very good chance of 2 All Americans next year and only 2 seniors according to GoBison (Tyler Johnson/Justin Solberg). Heading in the right direction.
