So after some recent lurking on CS.com, I have a question:
Why do some refer to the FCS Championship as "The Chipper?"
An inside joke perhaps?

Just a guess, but perhaps it stands for the C in FCS, as opposed to the B in FBS, as in we are in the Championshipper subdivision. I don't know though!!

Apparently, JBB was banned...I guess there was a thread when he went on an all out "gay porn" drift. Luckily for me, I only read about it and didn't witness it.

That's because their leader, Willie, is a Grizz fan (and Concordia grad) who hates all things Fargo and NDSU.
He's a graphic designer by trade, which makes me think he paid way too much for his skills. He could have gotten the same education down the road for 1/8 the cost at MSCTC. That's what DaveK did.

I know the last time I was on there they had all the right in the world to attack JBB he was really making us/NDSU look bad so that is understandable, but if they are beating up on people trying to be rational thats just bad

I've tried talking FCS FB with those guys but it seems like a losing effort. I went off on UND fan darell1976 when he bashes our FBS record and all of a sudden I am just like JBB......and that Willie guy says he hates everything Fargo....so Bison fans are already at a disadvantage....
Screamingeagle clown is over there also bashing us.....we need more Bison fans posting over there and bringing more "balance" to these discussions.

Ill cheer for you guys from the sidelins on this one, I have about 50 posts over there with the last about a year ago, they were mostly trying to set JBB straight and then I just couldnt take it anymore, life is good without
You guys have my suport though should shit go down I may come back (briefly)

The "guilty by association" concept seems to be much more powerful when relative anonymity is in play.

Man...come on over....I just joined last Xmas. It just is sickening how anti-NDSU it is over there.....really bad. All from lakes and JBB.
Maybe a few more Bison fans would help.

Heh, funny thing you brought up Monica from friends because I had this big metaphor in which cs.com = Jennifer Aniston's character in Office Space and lakesbison=Lumberg.
The metaphor was too weak so I discarded it. Now if, in the movie, Lumberg had a rotting venereal disease and jumped into bed with Joanna and Peter Gibbons and tried to make it a three-way while drunkenly yelling about TPS reports, then (and only then) would the metaphor properly convey the amount of distaste I harbor for lakesbison's internet behavior.
