This was discussed a long time ago in a thread far away, but I really like the way the Horizon League sets up its postseason tournament. It does a good way of protecting its best teams and thus bringing the best competition to the NCAA tournament which in turn can raise the conference profile as a whole.

Now that the first round is over, the 6 plays the 3 seed, and the 4 plays the 5 seed. The winners of those games will play the 1 (Valpo) and 2 (Cleveland State) seeds.

And the 1 seed gets to host the rest of the games. That is a HUGE incentive to be the #1 seed. The double bye is a huge incentive as well. I think Valp had the #1 seed lined up in the last game against Butler but Butler needed to win to get the #2 seed. Valpe beat them and now Butler has to play 2 extra games.

VCU opened up on George Mason 22-0...now 30-4 with about 10 minutes left in the first. Oh my.

GMU has 10 turnovers and is 1-9 from the floor in the first nine minutes. Dear god.

Just saw a tweet by Kolpack that says 740 is carrying the Big Sky tournament.

So 740 is carrying the Big Sky Conference basketball title game. For some reason, I thought RFM is voice of the Bison and Summit League.

wtf? The closest team playing in the tourney is like 700 miles away. Did they send an announcer or pickup another companies feed?

So i just went to 740's online stream and they are playing sim city music... definitly not covering the bsky tournament.

3min left in the bsky game.

Yes, 740 had the Big Sky championship game on. They also had the Missiouri Valley game on Sunday. I heard Tbone say that they were going to have coverage of multiple NCAA basketball games over the next few weeks.
