"I'm sure everybody has a different estimate, but I believe it was somewhere around 7-8,000 probably came out of town from North Dakota and probably comparable, 6-8,000 that came from Sam Houston [State]," Felker said.

There had to be 10,000 Bison fans at the game, if not more. I'm sure there were others like us who got a hotel out by DFW and only drove into Frisco for the game.

I want to know the increase in sales from the 7-11 right off the tollway from hotel to stadium

What how could the Bison have 7-8000 people there when Sam Houston had 100,000 alum in Houston

I wanna see side by side numbers of how much downtown Plano businesses made that Friday before game vs NYE or whatever their biggest night of the year usually is

I would say that estimate is correct. About 7-8k came from North Dakota, but I would bet that about 3-4k Bison fans from other parts of the country were there too.

I had 10 relatives come to the game that lived right in Dallas. They have never been to a game before but were wearing their Green & Gold proudly. I'm sure there are many more cases of adoptive Bison fans as well.

I came from NJ

And stayed in a new Laquinta on John Carpenter Freeway (Texas 183) in north Dallas as it was only $75 a nite! But I spent money on food & drinks in Frisco/Plano - you're welcome Whataburger and Wendys at Eldorado & NDT (North Dallas Tollway) and the DaddyBonz off of the NDT. And Izzy bought my drinks at Blue Gooser - if I wasnt at the game he couldn't have bought me drinks!

We flew in from Oregon. I know one person who lives across the street from my Parents in Fargo that is a winter Texan and drove up from south Texas.

That was awesome you made it out to the game! I was glad to share the pregame festivities with you.

I also only paid $49 for my room at the Courtyard, it was a pretty cheap trip overall.
