SDSU has been decent, but they just don't match up well against NDSU. Add on a couple of 'shitting the bed' games against you guys and the monkey just can't get off their back. Should be a good game at NDSU and at Frost. Looking forward to watching it.

That's the thing with this league. Do we get the SDSU team that beat UW by 20 or the team that lost to UND by 19. Does the NDSU team that eked out a 1 point win against UMKC show up, or the one that beat Oakland by almost 30. That's why when anybody says so and so should be a sure win you just kind of have to shake your head.

Well SDSU is actually playing defense this year, while in past years that wasn't exactly the case. That is why I think the games will be very competitive this year, in the past if you could get SDSU frustrated offensively they were very beatable.

The Summit is establishing its geographic foot print. More people care about USD than Centenary. It may be more similar to the NCC days, but with those attendance number it doesn't really matter.

Even though the broadcast team was South Dakota biased (SDSU, USD, Augustana or USF) they did give NDSU credit for having better athletes. If people think Midco is the answer to getting better NDSU coverage think twice. Production facilities for Midco are Sioux Falls based and their announcers know the local teams better and promote them. Hello NDSU leadership.........the next frontier is to get your shit together and have your own network. NDSU could be the regions favorite team since the Gophers and UND suck. The South Dakota teams are no big deal.

Dylan is TBD for Tuesday. His defense is absolutely critical on this team. You could see it early against USD, they knocked down two early 3's to open up 6-0. He prides himself on his defense. Hopefully his concussion symptoms are clear and he can play.....he wants to. Andy is ineligible. Hoping the best for the kid. Hopefully he finishes school this semester and gets a degree, which is why he is here.

The Wright dunk was a thing of beauty to see live like most times videos never do it justice Scotty Miller's (I'm assuming it's him even though there was no my oh mys? suppose he was so surprised it ended up being oh my gosh!? Which was precisely my reaction!) reaction is priceless though! Sort of got the fire going in the crowd that was for sure. I couldn't believe what I'd just witnessed, that was for me one of the sweetest dunks I've seen at the BSA since George Hill's throw down in spring of '08? Marshall had the power jam too it was a good night for dunks!

Broken one? Backboards nowadays aren't made of glass like the ones Shaq used to break. It's pretty much impossible to damage a hoop or backboard with how sturdily they make them. Sports Science actually did a bit where they dropped a piano on a rim to see if it would break - it held up.

That said, seeing the hoop's base lift off the ground when Marshall threw down was awesome. :) He only had a single dunk in his college career before Saturday, and he broke out two more. Hope we can have that kind of performance against UND on Tuesday.
