knowing those assholes in the Senate, it will probably be filibustered.

No the State legislature led by Al Carlson will take this as a financial benefit to NDSU and cut their budget accordingly
and give it to the Skol up North.

No...it will be filibustered because it's Socialist, Communist, or un-American...or maybe because they'll want it to be Conrad's waterloo. LOL

Can Senator Hoeven add in a clause something like this?

Now, therefore, be it

Resolved,That the Senate--

(1) congratulates the NDSU football team, the2011 FCS National Champions;

(2) commends the NDSU players, coaches and staff for their hard work and dedication;

and

(3) recognizes the students, alumni, and loyal fans for supporting the Bison on their successful quest to capture the school’s first Division I trophy;

(4) doth proclaim that "Sioux suck".

Pretty cool, but honestly, does this really need to happen? Ever? Do we need a Senate resolution acknowledging ever accomplishment imaginable? Where's mine?

Now, therefore, be it

Resolved,That the Senate--

(1) congratulates the Bisonmike on showing up to work a day after getting the flu.

(2) commends Bisonmike for his hard work and dedication;

and

(3) recognizes Bisonmike for his successful quest to not shit his pants at work, nor throw up in his office.

Both your office chair and your clothes washer dispute this point-->resolution fails for lack of support!!

Obamacare is the reason why there is no playoff in the FBS.

I can say much about this but Nancy Pelosi and Mitt Romney are heavily involved in a conspiracy to have Tim Tebow go far in the playoffs.

This resolution will probably take about 5 minutes. It won't take away from any other Senate business as the Senate has a special calendar (I believe it's called the Suspension calendar) for resolutions that it hears once or twice a week (not exactly sure when). Also whenever a sports team wins a championship, there's a resolution honoring them. Just sayin :hide:

Didn't Barack say he would get the FBS to have a real playoff? Hasn't happened yet so there are grounds for impeachment imho. :biggrin:
