I have to admit, I did not expect this from the GF Herald especially the this part
"NDSU took a risk and showed the way. Say what you will about former President Joe Chapman, his push to see NDSU grow and excel succeeded on many levels, and one of them showed up in the football team’s performance Saturday......."
I would guess that this is about as close to the direct article written by Patrick Reusse at the Star Tribune.
Now if they could get Roger Thomas to come back and admit he threw UND under the bus with their press conference
it would almost be 100%
Also this statement means that either they way over guarantee or they NEVER host if NDSU is in the
playoffs vs them.
"NDSU played at the Fargodome nine times during the 2011 season, and attendance at every game exceeded 17,000.
The Alerus Center’s total capacity for football is 13,500. So, it’s not hard to imagine sellout or near-sellout games developing for UND football; and an annual string of capacity crowds would do .........for the Alerus ,,,,,, bottom line. "
