Predicted winner: South Dakota State Earlier this season, Oakland officials retired former star Keith Benson's jersey in a pregame ceremony. His departure signaled a troubling future for Oakland. The Golden Grizzlies have been solid without him, but they'll have to chase Oral Roberts and South Dakota State for the conference championship. ORU has wins over Missouri State and Xavier, and South Dakota State pummeled Washington on the road. I give SDSU the edge because of Nate Wolters (21.1 ppg) and his takeover ability.

ORU is still my pick, they have depth, are athletic and play stellar defense. All of which are things you need to win three games in SF come March. IMO they have been the most impressive Summit team since December.

SDSU still has a ways to go. It's still ORU's to win with NDSU and SDSU with a chance to steal it. A championship game of NDSU vs. SDSU would be pretty awesome in Sioux Falls come March.

Stealing this out of ORU starts tonight if Bison, then Jacks win in Tulsa. That would really elevate the great, intense rivalry between Brookings and Fargo.
