I was thinking the same thing. One difference imho is that the Ducks probably have adequate depth on the d-line to rotate players. After watching the three SHSU playoff games I don't think they have the depth or they didn't feel the need to use it. Bison need to control the clock and keep hitting them in the mouth.

Agreed! From the game that I saw, we have more defensive depth than they do. This bodes well for us in this one.

The offenses are similar comparisons but I think that we have better defenses for our level than these two teams do. Wisky usually has a solid D but the two FCS title defenses are the best out there statistically.

We have a Wisconsin/Stanford offense(not as great at passing) and a great Defense, I don't know who to compare our defense to, cause Alabama and LSU shut shit down hardcore. But we give up very few points which is all I care about.

I think were very fast. maybe not crazy und speed but Holloway and Smith are pretty darn fast. Throw in Wahlo and were really fast. Our qb out ran the entire defense last week and Sam and dj are fast. DJs more shifty

I'm rather disappointed in the quality of football on display thus far in the FBS bowl games. Nobody plays defense! I can see why LSU and Alabama are clearly the class of the division. As a side note, can anybody kick field goals in FBS?

The FBS system sucks, think about how much "fun" it was to prepare for and see JMU, LeHigh, GSU and now the barepussies. I think the NCAA could create holy shit matchups with a playoff system. First round might be Houston versus Boise State, then Boise against Oregon, then Oregon versus Oklahoma State...you get the picture.
