Montana didn't have seats allocated to them. The tickets that weren't allocated to NDSU or SHSU are tickets people bought before the two teams made the championship game.

I thought all playoff teams had at least a limited number of seats allocated to them, for ADs, coaches, players in line for awards, etc.

Per my comment earlier I'm guessing a tour operator in Butte bought a bunch of tickets in case Montana made it. That way he could be ready to book charters/tours as soon as the game was over. Since Montana didn't make it he now has to get rid of them through the secondary market. Remember the Bison charter providers had information available the night of the game. I'm sure they did the same thing. I don't believe their tickets are in the 4600 NDSU allotment.

I'd ASSUME that since the Bison are in sections 101-107, SHSU would be either 126-132 (straight across) or 122-128 (same tickets diagonally). Just a guess, though...

When I first booked my tickets they ended up on the SHSU side after the coin flip. Which I might add happened before the GSU game. The ticket guy called me and asked if I still want to keep my original seats. I said no so he switched us to the NDSU side.
