"I finally came to the conclusion that I was never going to be considered tall enough," Willson said. "But how is an extra two inches going to make me a better football player? I just did what I could with what God gave me and made the best of it. I just try to play with all the heart I can. I put everything I can into it."
Once again, as fortune would have it, Willson's decision was essentially made for him as North Dakota State was the only school to offer him a scholarship.

Great Read...Thanks. I liked this one.
"We have awesome support up there and the people from that area are very kind and nice," Willson said. "The only thing I really miss is the mountains. There is not really even a hill around there. I had an old man tell me that Fargo is the only place that you can watch your dog run away for three days."

Awesome read, saw it a few weeks ago but didn't think to post it on here. Can't say enough about how glad I am that Chad chose to be a Bison, what an impact he's had in his two years with the program. Sad to think this is his last game already but hope to goodness he buys into the "once a Bison always a Bison" mantra.

Maybe I'm thinking of a different article. I'd swear I read something about Willson getting a third shot at a championship in the middle of December sometime. Absentmindedness is a trait characteristic of myself, I assure you.

Yep. Kid can play. No doubt about that. A real FB player. I was introduced to his dad by a long time Team Maker a few weeks ago. He admitted he wanted Chad to play for Utah. But was very impressed with the support up here. Go Bison! We found a GEM!

If anyone has made a bigger impact to our program in only two years, I'd like to see who and why. Chad has been fun to watch and is a great leader for this team. In my mind, one of the best transfers to ever step foot in the Dome.
Again, if you disagree or have transfers who've made a larger impact, please respond with who and why.
Chad will have 10+ tackles for us in the NC.

Another cool read, this one on Holloway on ncaa.com
http://www.ncaa.com/news/football/article/2011-12-29/holloway-ready-texas-return
“It feels good to get back home and play in front of some family and friends,” Holloway said. “Being so far from home, I didn’t get much opportunity to play in front of my family.”

Little blurb here about GT. This time on navysports.com funny how i see NDSU recruiting against air force and army all the time but never players with Navy offers or interest

I sampled an FCS semifinal from the Fargodome, only to confront conflicting emotions. Visiting Georgia Southern was led by ex-Navy assistant and all-around good guy Jeff Monken. Then again, home-standing North Dakota State’s athletic director Gene Taylor is also an AAGG, as well as a former Naval Academy administrator.
You could argue, regardless of the outcome, I couldn’t lose. But it sure felt like I couldn’t win. Eventually, the Bison won in a big way. Thankfully, there won’t be any conflict of rooting interest when NDSU meets Sam Houston State in the championship.
